Last weekend I went two days in Warsaw, the beautiful capital of Poland.
As usual it is a trip low cost, with a practical flying Ryanair from 30 Euros round trip, and a hostel for 13 euro per night ... but let's order (cit.)
Arriving in Warsaw by Italy is very simple and relatively quick.
From Bergamo fact depart several low cost flights in less than two hours take you straight to your destination.
Then landing the Warsaw Chopin Airport, which is a few kilometers from the city center, get to your destination is really a thing from a few minutes (max 30 with traffic).
Once in the city, my itinerary was already nice that programmed into my brave WeGo Here, my browser of confidence.
But being arrived a bit 'in advance to do the checkin to the hostel, I decided to visit just a few points that I had marked the Lazienki Park with its Lazienki Palace and the Park Ujazdowski.
It 'was a nice surprise, I could have expected, in fact, but just had not thought of.
And beyond to the snow of course, in Warsaw I found waiting for me very very cold.
I had prepared well, covering me in an exaggerated (at Fantozzi), but you can not protect the face, and the Warsaw air was really cold and sharp.
After visiting these beautiful parks, I finally went to the hostel, the U Rafcia, in the north-east outskirts of the city.
A little 'off the beaten track, but by public transport you will get anywhere in Warsaw.
Small aside public transport: they are comfortable and efficient, I made the weekend ticket, and I have traveled unlimited for 2 days to less than 5 Euros.
Going back to the hostel, it was a sort of rents private rooms with shared bathroom, a private apartment used as a mini hostel, in a popular neighborhood.
But the lady was very kind, and even offered me a typical polish cake ... or at least I think it was: p
After having eaten and rested One moment, I went out to visit the city, but discovering a terrible thing ... to the 3 and a half in Warsaw starts to get dark! ... At least this time of year.
Then I saw most of the things I wanted to do, without the light of day.
But this was also good, because Warsaw is already in full Christmas spirit and around there are a lot of lights, music and stalls.
Among the things to do in Warsaw, there are: Multimedia Fountain Park, Barbican, Statue of the Little Insurgent, Pomnik Bohaterów Getta, Old Town, Warsaw Mermaid, Cathedral of St. John, Royal Castle in Warsaw, Plac Zamkowy, King Sigismund's Column , St. Anne's Church, Pałac Prezydencki, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Monument of Nicolaus Copernicus, Holy Cross Church, Ulica Nowy Swiat.
After discovering that in Warsaw gets dark early, the second day I got up first, so you can see more things possible with the light, then I went to the famous Warsaw Jewish Cemetery, the cemetery of the Jews who died during the Second World War .
Really a touching place, a kind of cemetery forest with many graves left to themselves, an endless field that makes us understand the extent of extermination.
Later, because it was close, I also visited the Powazki Cemetery (Polish cemetery), much more common than the last, and the Arkadia shopping center.
After this morning ride I went in the Centrum area, where he would have to take the bus to the airport Modlin, though sadly discovering that what you wanted to take me at 4 in the afternoon was full, so I had to content myself with that of 2 and half, losing precious time for the visit to Warsaw.
Distraught by this nasty discovery, I hurried therefore to visit the latest tourist attractions in Warsaw: Pałac Kultury i Nauki (the palace of culture), the shopping center Złote Tarasy, Central Station, and the charming Fragment of Ghetto Wall, what it remains of the wall that closed the Warsaw ghetto.
One last consideration I want to make concerns the parks of Warsaw, very nice and well cared for.
Among the various guests of these parks, there are various types of birds and fantastic red scogliattoli.
And of course, as in any self-respecting my journey, I baked a beautiful video playlist:

Conclusions:
Warsaw is a beautiful city as cold, which would possibly visited in the warmer seasons :)
The people are friendly and kind, for the little I saw (I always keep a low profile in my travels), and things to see are so many, so Warsaw is definitely worth a visit at least a couple of days.
