The full tour of Gran Canaria by bus

Tags

A few days ago I competed in the full tour of Gran Canaria by bus (guagua).
It was a bit 'I thought about it, but looking a bit' times, I was not convinced we can do it. But then, having to go to Agaete, I decided to try to do the full tour of the island by bus, and I'm here to tell you about it.

Il giro completo di Gran Canaria in autobus

The starting point is Playa de Ingles, where I took the 9am bus to Puerto de Mogan (bus number 32, about 45 minutes drive).
As happened on Friday, I could see the enormous market of Puerto Mogan, one of the largest island (if not the largest).

Mercato Puerto de Mogan

From Puerto de Mogan, I then took the guagua number 38 for Aldea de San Nicolas.
It was only 11:30 so I was just in Puerto de Mogan, but so much had already visited twice (read my post about it).

Guagua Puerto de Mogan

After an hour's journey of twists and turns finally arrived in Aldea de San Nicolas.
A ride very trying for my stomach, but definitely satisfying to the eyes.

Panorama Aldea

Aldea I had about an hour and a half to tour the country (you can find photos and video here) and to eat, and at 14.05 I then caught the 101 bus to Puerto de la Nieves.
Another trip of an hour made of hairpin bends and sheer drops and panoramic sea views.

Panorama verso Agaete

After arriving in Puerto de la Nieves, I shot a little 'over the country and then went on foot to Agaete (photos and video here).

Unlike the other stages, here buses to Las Palmas are much more frequent, so I could do things with calm without the worry of losing the only bus for the return: p

After shooting a bit 'these two countries, at 17, I then took the guagua number 103 Las Palmas San Telmo, in about an hour led me to the destination.

Other sightseeing tour and other photos and videos.

Road to Las Palmas

In Las Palmas, wishing I could shoot a couple of hours the city, so there were buses every 30 minutes, but having already visited, I decided to immediately leave for Playa de Ingles, and at 19 I came home at last, a bit 'tired but very satisfied.

The full tour of Gran Canaria by bus in one day has been challenging but rewarding experience that not do again, but are still glad I tried :)
