Last Saturday I was in Bucharest.
Bucharest was not really in my favorite spot, but having found a cheaply Ryanair flight from 15 € (it's right, around 7 euro for arrival and the same for the return!), I said to myself ... why not? ? : p
From the airport I took the convenient bus 783 that brought me right to my hotel in Unirii Square.
I wrote hotel? Sorry, it was a hostel :)
A I'm around I went to savings and spent only 26 EUR for sleeping (obviously at least private room).
It seemed out of place to spend more, having paid the flight 15 euro :)
However, arrived at the hostel (Hostel Rooms Unirii Square), I find no sign.
So, after turning empty about ten minutes, I ask a couple of guys if you can help me, but even they can not find the hostel.
So, ask a store of the same building, but also the shopkeeper never heard about this hostel!
In the end we decided to call (speak to them of course), and the guy says to wait for them, so after five minutes arrives and finally brings me to my room.
I had the feeling that the place was so slightly abusive ... but it's okay, it was clean and very comfortable as location :)
Let my things in the hostel, I headed on foot to see the parliament in Bucharest, mammoth monument.
With an area of 350,000 square meters, the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest (Palatul Parlamentului) is the second largest building in the world by extension and the third by volume.
By parliament I saw the adjacent park and the Cismigiu Gardens.
Then I saw the Cercul Militar National (always from outside for lack of time), the Krezulescu Biserica (church) and the Roman Atheneul.
Then, continuing always to Calea Victorei, I saw the CEC palace, a monument to the Renaissance, up to the famous Piata Victorei (square of Victory), where a demonstration was taking place.
Always walk (drudgery), I came up to the arch of triumph, and the Herastrau Park, and I visited them the Village Museum, an outdoor museum with old-style houses.
After this incredible walk I finally granted a typical pranzetto (maybe: p): a hotdog and a strange potato rolled up on a skewer, but for which I do not know the name.
Meal perhaps not very healthy, but definitely good :)
After a short lunch break, I'm ready to get back to the center to see the things I left behind ... but with the cabbage that I am referring to the foot (which I guess they were more than 5km).
So I go to a bus station, buy a rechargeable with coupon on a ticket (about 60 cents) and I try to figure out which means take.
The chick in the booth told me to take or the bus 131 or 331, but them in the bus station all displays are broken and do not even understand where to wait. So, after losing 20 minutes to wait in vain those buses, I get on the first tram that leads to the center, and as soon as I get off this curve in the wrong direction :)
Returning to the center, visit: the university building, the National Theatre, the Spitalul Clinic Coltea, the Basilica of St. Nicholas, the Saint George church and the famous passage Macca Villacrosse.
Then down again towards the south, the Stavropoleos church, the famous Lipscani Street, the old city (old city), the Sfantul Anton church, and the great synagogue.
Among other things, the day in Bucharest was lucky. I found the sun all day, and indeed, I had covered too well thinking about finding a colder climate than ours, rather it was hotter as well :)
Below is a little 'video of Bucharest:

Bucharest overall I liked it.
It 'was a pleasant surprise. He had gone just because it costs nothing, and instead turned out to be pleasant to visit.
Of course, it must pass a bit 'the initial impact, overcoming the concern of seeing poor people on the streets (like the Roma), but other than that there are so many beautiful things to see :)
Then maybe, if you're a young single woman, maybe you're a little 'careful where you go in the evening, since some practices that, for us science fiction or something from the Middle Ages, they seem to be true: or
So, in summary: if you get a good offer, please let us also a visit to Bucharest, because it deserves it.
If I find another cheap flight another round I do, but out of town.
I'm going to see the castles of Romania, Dracula's castle in Transylvania, and the tomb of Count Vlad Tepes at Snagov (Dracula's alleged tomb).
Although it was a trip of two days, I could call this post "Bucharest in one day", since in practice the day to visit the city was just one.
Let's say for sightseeing, one day might be enough, although I had to trot a lot (mostly because I could not take the right means), but if you have two days, it is better :)
And with Bucharest's all. I leave you with the inevitable photo album ... are only 266 :)
