How can you live in Italy and never having visited Venice?
For some it is the city of lovers, for many others it is simply a beautiful city.

Venezia

With its thousands of water canals, its alleyways untangled, can be turned far and wide without ever tiring to discover its endless beauties.

Reaching Venice is very simple, you take the train and get off practically in the city center.
Of course you can also get in the car, but if you want to avoid pecking queues or struggle to find parking, I advise you to travel by train.

A peculiarity of Venice is that it can be turned in a totally random, indeed, perhaps it is even more fun to discover new lanes wandering aimlessly fixed and exiting the normal tourist circuits.

Venezia canali

The most visited square in Venice is the beautiful Piazza San Marco, where thousands of tourists gather every day to admire its splendor.
A unique feature of this square is that depending on the tide, might happen to see it completely submerged in water.
I unfortunately never happened, but I would have liked to stroll through the flooded streets of Venice ... reinforced course of long boots.

Venezia piazza san marco

Given the many canals full of water, many turn to Venice by boat.
The typical Venetian boat is the gondola, which has become the symbol of the city.
Many tourists, lovers and not, allow themselves a gondola ride when visiting Venice.

Venezia gondole

What else to say ... yes, Venice is famous worldwide for its carnival and for the refined masks that are sold all year round in the shops and stalls.
