Saturday I did a day trip to Copenhagen.

Copenaghen in giornata

After the success of day trips in Brussels and in Budapest, I'm back to tell you about the wonders of trips a day.

With skyscanner I found two flights to / (Ryanair and easyJet), and for the modest sum of 80 € (a little 'more than usual, but still an acceptable figure), they took me in the beautiful capital of Denmark.

The flight departed at 6:30 am from Bergamo and at 8.30 I was already in Copenhagen, even if the arrival time was not the best: p

From the airport to the center of Copenhagen you can get there easily by 15 minutes by subway.
Not knowing how many means we got in the end we opted for the 24-hour ticket which covers four areas, sufficient for our purpose.
Paying 80 DKK (Danish krone), or about 10 euro, we bought the card paying by debit / credit card directly at the machines.

Small note on payments in Copenhagen: there, as you'll see, there's the euro.
however, no problem. Apart from that many places accept Euros (but not worth much), you can pay by credit card and with a system that allows you to pay with your smartphone, a practice widely used there.

However, the first leg of the trip was Christiania, to which you come up with the yellow metro M2 (one that takes from terminal 3), getting off at the Christianshavn station.

On the way to Christiania we saw the famous Vor Frelsers Kirke (church), then we went on foot to the Opera House.

From the Opera House we faced the problem of how to get to the other side of the canal, and after turning a little bit and he asked someone, we discovered the existence of cool water bus: p

With the boat we crossed the channel and therefore is the most famous tourist attraction arrived and photographed the city, the port of Nyhavn.
The ancient port of Nyhavn is a very special place.
Long and narrow, it is circodato by many colorful houses when the sun is the joy of all the cameras.
We unfortunately we were unlucky because there was fog.

After the harbor we continued on foot to the Frederiks Kirke (church), then we walked up to Gefion Fountain (fountain), Kastellet and the famous statue of The Little Mermaid (the little mermaid).

The little mermaid We then went back up to the Kongens Have Park, where we saw the Rosenborg Castle.

Short break to one street snack (they are very fashionable hot dogs), and then off to the Rundetaarn (The Round Tower), the famous shopping street Stroget, Copenhagen City Hall (the square where is the town hall), Christiansborg palace and the special Stock Exchange (Borsen palace).

Dead tired, we have finally taken the subway (always yellow M2) and we went to see the Frederiksborg Slot (Castle), going down in the homonymous metro station.
Here then we decided to make a walk in the beautiful park Frederiksborg Have, instead of taking the metro to go and see a picturesque cemetery: p

Ran out of time, we took back the yellow metro line M2 and got off at the last stop Københavns Lufthavn, thus arriving at the airport, where we waited for our flight to Italy (starting 19:35 with a nice half-hour late because they could not find staff to embark a disabled person).

Below is a short video playlist that I made in Copenhagen.

What about Copenhagen?
Really a beautiful city, much more beautiful of my :)
If it were not for the cold a little thought sull'andarci to stay there I would.
I must say that, apart from the fog, was not that cold, maybe because I was covered in an exaggerated way :)

One day course is not enough to see Copenhagen, but if you do not want to visit museums or attractions that require time, we say that is enough to get an idea of the city.

Below a bit 'of photos, it feels the next trip :)
