Rome

Who has not been at least once in a lifetime in Rome?
The capital of Italy is famous worldwide for its beauty and for its glorious past, represented by the way in winning US television series.

The symbol of Rome is also one of the symbols of Italy. I'm obviously talking about the Colosseum:

Roma colosseo

Built by the ancient Romans in 80 AD, the Colosseum, also known as Amphitheatrum Flavium, is the largest amphitheater in the world.
Able to accommodate up to 75,000 people, it has been the scene of bloody battles between gladiators and shows such as re-enactments of the great battles of the past.

Today, the Colosseum is one of the largest tourist attractions in Rome, but of course is not the only one.
Another very famous work as striking is the Horse's Mouth:

Roma bocca della verità

Those of you who have never put my hand into his mouth with the fear that was severed? :)
It is said that the mouth of truth cuts the hand of liars!

We want to mention the Trevi Fountain?

Roma fontana di trevi

Throw a coin into the fountain and make a wish is something that no tourist worthy of the name lets out.
Considered one of the most beautiful fountains in the world, the Trevi Fountain has been immortalized in many films.

There would be many other things to say about Rome, but we let the pictures speak:
