Have you ever been to Palermo? I will: p
Back in 2009, after having heard so much about, even I have visited the famous capital of Sicily.
Palermo is a big city as beautiful.
Maybe a little 'too busy, like many other major cities in Italy.
My trip was only a couple of days, so I could not visit the city very well, but from what I saw Palermo is definitely worthy of its reputation.
Yes, what you see in the photo above is the very famous Sicilian cart!
I did not pay for a ride, but at least I photographed it: p
But Palermo is not only the city, is also Sea!
The most famous beach of Palermo is the Mondello beach, beautiful but alas a little 'too crowded for my taste (at least on Sunday).
Unfortunately Palermo is not only known for Sicilian carts, cannoli, arancini and its various beauties, but also for the mafia.
Everyone will remember the stories of Falcone and Borsellino, but also of many other victims of the Mafia.
But it is thanks to the sacrifice of these people that the mafia has undergone a resized abrupt than in the past.
Obviously a tourist nothing is perceived the problem, apart from some sign here and there:
Palermo is a city still quite safe to visit, although some disreputable neighborhoods ... but today that Italian city has no areas to avoid?
Strongly advising you to take a trip to Palermo during the summer, I leave you with the link to the photos ... kiss hands.
