In 2013, two annetti ago, I was at 5 lands (5 terre).
The area called the Cinque Terre is located in Liguria, and I actually had stayed there back in 2003.
In 2003 I visited the stretch between Manarola and Riomaggiore, while in 2013 I visited the remaining three zones: Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia.
The trip to the five lands that I had in 2003 I remembered them like a simple thing, for everyone.
I had in fact used the section between Riomaggiore and Manarola, known by all as the way of love.
Instead, it will have been 10 years, but the stretch between Monterosso and Vernazza was really tough, a nice walk uphill on a beautiful and scenic trail but challenging enough ... maybe I'm too old: p
However, the scene is also very worthwhile and it's certainly worth it ... but it's not something for everyone!
These trails are still a fee, so bring some money if you intend to follow them ... and of course a good supply of water and a hat for sun protection :)
For the lazy however there is also the option to switch between a land and another by train, choice I also adopted me after arriving exhausted at the second of the three lands to visit: p
The five lands are protected by UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it could not be otherwise given the beauty of the landscapes that offer both stunning sea views, both mountain trails, which features towns and beautiful beaches.
And I have nothing more to say on this story (cit.), But the usual photo album:
