Way back in 2003 I had a wonderful trip in Tunisia.
It 'was obviously before the religious tensions in the area and even before I started to travel as a tourist DIY.
In fact, to do this trip I entrusted to an agency, which offered me a nice 10-day all-inclusive package.
They are then left without thoughts and went to one of the many summer resorts of Tunisia, more precisely in the city of Monastir.
Tunisia is a popular tourist destination, or at least it was in the past, because it has everything you need to entertain tourists: sea, deserts, OASY, city features and a lot of fun.
I apart from sunbathing by the pool served and revered, I allowed myself even a day trip a few days to visit a bit 'inland, pushing me to the gates of the Sahara, which by the way is the largest desert (hot) of the world!
I tell you a funny anecdote that happened during the trip to the desert.
We stayed in a fantastic 5-star hotel (one of those who in Italy would cost a fortune), but once in the room we noticed the presence of a giant black spider, one of those that you only see in the movies to speak .
No time to call the attendant that the ferocious spider has disappeared without a trace, so for fear of rivedercelo emerge at night we had to change our room -_-
Aside from that little incident was a memorable vacation and I feel I can advise you to make a trip to Tunisia, if it were not for what happened recently.
Mind you, the Tunisians are good people, but they are too close to the war zone and with all the good will, the risk of attacks right now is too high ... so why risk it?
Oh well, as usual there are a flood of photos for you:
