Antwerp is a charming town of Belgium, not big and famous like Brussels but in my opinion equally worth a visit.
Arrive in Antwerp (Antwerpen in Dutch and German, Anvers in French) is very simple, as well as economic.
From Italy in fact, there are several low cost flights in an hour and a half will lead to your destination.
Once arrived at the airport is then easy and cheap to get to the city center, just use public transport, which have a more than acceptable rate.
I'm not going to list them the attractions of the city (since I do not remember the names: p) but I can tell you it is a city that lends itself to be explored on foot or by bicycle ... I said bicycle?
Small brackets bicycle: there are a lot, and dart at the speed of light in their lanes, so eye that should be considered as real cars ready to invest if you cross the street without looking!
Walking through Antwerp you can admire the architecture of the various buildings, really special (if I was an art history expert would say even in that style are: p).
Antwerp is crossed by the river Scheldt and you know what came up in the city to be able to switch from one bank to another?
A picturesque underwater tunnel, the St. Anna Tunnel.
What else Antwerp? Not much!
There have been little more than one day so I do not have much depth, but surely it is worth mentioning the beautiful open-air museum of the Middelheim Park.
It is a sort of open-air museum, where there are many bizarre works of art.

One thing that impressed me a lot of Antwerp is the simultaneous presence of Jews and Muslims, who are walking peacefully alongside each other.
Perhaps we are accustomed hurt us to hear all the news of violence in Togo, especially in Israel area, but in Antwerp them there seems to be a completely peaceful coexistence.
Of course, in the city there is no shortage still armed soldiers: p
Well, it's all over, I leave you with the album link containing pictures of Antwerp.
